Participants will be able to contribute to their personal, cultural and professional development. They will also have the opportunity to work with colleagues from different countries and exchange information and to develop different perspectives,
They will have the chance to learn about different practices and methods with an intercultural understanding,
They will have the opportunity to learn new languages and cultures, to introduce their own language and culture,
They will have the opportunity to see closely how disadvantaged groups, especially the hearing impaired, are taken care of in European culture,
During our project, 200 people are expected to participate in the activities and multiplier effect events.
In terms of participating institutions,
There will be an increase in both quality and quantity in the international studies of participating institutions,
Their professionalism and institutional capacities will improve and they will add value to their region and countries,
Will have knowledge, skills and experience for similar or different studies in future,
Will form close networks with professional associations, higher unions, the business world and other stakeholders,
More than 20 institutions at national and international level are expected to participate in our project and its activities and events.
At the National and International Level
We expect to contribute to the diversification of the vocational training areas of the hearing impaired at national and international level,
Good practices on how to include sign language in vocational education and how to apply it will be presented and encouraged,
We support the use of technology and the development of digital competencies in vocational education,
We expect to contribute to the social and educational value of European cultural heritage in the field of gastronomy,
We expect to contribute to the vertical and horizontal integration of digital education materials into the currently present education systems,
We expect to contribute to the development of inclusive and accessible vocational education policies and systems,
Our project will contribute to the competitiveness of EU countries in food and beverage and tourism sectors,
Our project will further carry the visibility of Europe's services offered to the disabled to international dimensions,
We expect an increase in the number of deaf cooks employed across Europe,
We expect our project to expand and be implemented in three other different professions such as Pastry, Accommodation Services, Beauty and Hair Care Services in the long run as well.
In terms of end users who will use the distance education system;
Individuals who do not have any profession and want to learn the cooking profession will have online and free educational materials,
Chefs who are still professional chefs but cannot find the opportunity to develop their professional skills or acquire new skills due to irregular working hours will have educational materials independent of time and place,
Cooks from different countries with or without hearing impairment will have a platform where they can share different educational materials that will contribute to their personal and professional developments,
Deaf chefs will find new opportunities in line with their professional career plans and career goals,
They will have the chance to learn a language they do not know at all and to improve the languages they know,
Our project will improve their digital competencies,
We expect 100 people from each partner country to successfully complete the curriculum to be prepared.
In addition to these, sign language and a dictionary of culinary terminology that we will develop within the scope of our project will contribute to the language development of the deaf community and consequently to their professional and social integration.
